The Festival itself is always held on the first weekend in June and tickets go on sale online traditionally on December 7th each year - so make a note now for next year.
History
The 2010 Beer Festival will be the 14th Keswick Beer Festival, from humble beginnings in 1997 this event has grown into an event attracting nearly 6000 Beer enthusiasts over two days.
Keswick
Keswick on Derwentwater is a stunning Lakeland town with an abundance of activities, events, accommodation, restaurants and bars.
The area is renowned for sports with excellent walking, climbing, paragliding, fishing, golfing, windsurfing and sailing (amongst others!). There is also a cinema, art galleries and good variety of shopping.
2009 Beer Festival
The 2009 Keswick Beer Festival was the 13th annual beer festival. It was a great success with many people coming in fancy dress! The bands were superb and there was a mind-numbing amount of tasty and strong BEER!
